Terms of Use

Using Pagewell

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pagewell on Android devices you own or control, for personal or business purposes, in line with these terms. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows you to.

Your documents

You own the documents you open, edit and create with Pagewell. We claim no rights to them, and because they stay on your phone and are never sent to our servers, we never receive them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for what you open, edit, sign and share. Only change, sign or distribute documents you have the right to, and follow the rules that apply to them.

Keep your own copies

Pagewell opens the files already on your phone and saves the results of its tools as new files in Downloads/Pagewell; it never changes the original. We have no copy of any of them, so if your phone is lost, reset or damaged they cannot be restored by us. Keep backups of important documents.

If you password-protect a PDF, keep the password safe. Neither Pagewell nor we can recover it, and without it the PDF cannot be opened.

Pagewell Pro

Pagewell Pro is optional and unlocks additional features on any Android device signed in to the same Google account. It is offered as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel; you can cancel any time in Google Play, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. The yearly plan may start with a free trial offered by Google Play; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged. Each Pro tool can be used once for free before you buy. The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment, refunds and billing questions are handled by Google Play under its own policies. Reading documents stays free without Pro.

We may improve, change or add features over time. If a feature included in Pro is ever removed, we will do our best to offer a fair replacement.

Accuracy

Pagewell draws documents with its own viewers, which may not show every file exactly as the program that made it: complex layouts, charts inside spreadsheets, and old .doc and .ppt files may look different or not open. Compressing a PDF turns its pages into pictures, and editing a Word paragraph keeps the formatting of its first part only. Check important documents before you rely on them or send them.

Availability and updates

We provide Pagewell and updates to it through Google Play. We aim to keep it working well, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or available on every device or Android version.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Pagewell is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent the law allows, Truetech Solutions is not liable for any lost data, lost documents, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Pagewell. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Pagewell Pro, if anything. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

The content of pagewell.truetechsol.org is provided for information about Pagewell. Links to other websites, such as Google Play, are provided for convenience and are governed by those sites' own terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Pagewell changes. We will post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using Pagewell after a change, the updated terms apply.
